Melinda Manos
Melinda Manos attended Michigan State University earning her degree in Social Science. Shortly after graduation, she was hired by comedian Bob Hope as an administrative assistant. Melinda worked directly with Hope for three years, overseeing his schedule, correspondence, attending galas, events and liaising with dignitaries, major Hollywood stars and Media.
The Public Relations experience with Bob Hope led Melinda to use her PR skills while working at executive assistant jobs with studio heads which include Brandon Tartikoff / Paramount Pictures, Bill Kerstetter / New World Entertainment, and Tom Pollock / MCA-Universal. Melinda also worked for Hollywood mogul Jerry Perenchio, entertainment lawyer Nigel Sinclair, and actress Faye Dunaway.
In 1997, Melinda launched her own company offering a full range of publicity services and utilizing her widespread Hollywood contacts and unique creativity. Melinda has effectively helped advance careers, products and services, in fashion, beauty, health and lifestyle. Manos Public Relations Inc. works in all forms of media – advertising, product launches and event planning while providing the hands-on attention of a Boutique Agency. Melinda also works with charitable and non-profit groups to promote their causes and coordinate their events. These include: SHARE, INC., women dedicated to raising funds for developmentally disabled, abused and neglected children and related medical research. Melinda supports the work of the PITUITARY NETWORK ASSOCIATION, an international group committed to raising awareness of pituitary diseases and disorders. She was the only Public Relations professional selected to speak at their annual conference in 2008. Melinda was commended by the City of Santa Monica for serving as co-chair of the OPCC Resource Board. The OPCC Drop-In facility provides services for individuals and families who are often homeless and without resources.
