Dina White

Dina White is a New York public relations professional with an expertise in strategic entertainment media relations, event planning, and talent booking.  For over 20 years, she has publicized programming and talent for some of the country’s most critically-acclaimed networks including USA Network, NBC, Hallmark Channel, AMC, WEtv, PBS and Bravo.

Dina has extensive experience in managing complete campaigns of programming publicity including:
arranging national and local publicity interviews for talent and executives including talk show appearances, magazine and newspaper features and radio interviews; booking talent for promotional appearances and events; managing special events, press conferences, screenings and receptions; writing press materials; coordinating artwork and photography for promotional distribution;
 orchestrating all on set/on-location publicity; creating promotional mailers for special events and launches; generating core messaging and talking points for executive and management interviews.

Some of Dina’s placements over the years have included TODAY SHOW, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, REGIS & KELLY, THE VIEW, RACHAEL RAY, TV GUIDE, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, NEW YORK MAGAZINE, PARADE, USA WEEKEND, EMMY MAGAZINE, THE NEW YORK TIMES, LOS ANGELES TIMES, NPR, WESTWOOD ONE, SIRIUS/XM RADIO and HUFFINGTON POST.

Since 2007, Dina has served as a Publicity Consultant for NBC Universal (on both NBC and USA Network).  For NBC, she has implemented campaigns for the Emmy Award-winning series “30 Rock,” with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin;  “Lipstick Jungle” with Brooke Shields, Lindsay Price, Kim Raver and Andrew McCarthy; and “Law & Order: SVU” with Mariska Harigitay and Chris Meloni.  Dina currently personally represents three contestants from NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.”  For USA Network, Dina is overseeing/oversaw the network’s 2009 Emmy campaign and Comic Con 2009, as well as publicity efforts for “Psych,” with James Roday and Dule Hill; “The Starter Wife” with Debra Messing; New York-based stunts/press conferences for “Burn Notice;” and talent booking for “WWE Raw.”

Prior to NBC, Dina White was Director, Public Relations for AMC.   As the East Coast media relations spokesperson for 16 years, she was responsible for the development of PR campaigns and special events surrounding original documentaries, made for TV movies, monthly movie packaging and weekly scripted and non-scripted series.  She counseled senior staff members on issues regarding company policy, and booked talent as spokespersons for interviews.  Dina publicized some of the network’s award-winning original programming, including “Broken Trail;” “Hustle;” “Remember WENN;” “The Lot;” “Hustle;” “The Hollywood Fashion Machine;” “Movies 101 With Professor Richard Brown;” “Backstory;” “Diamonds on the Silver Screen;” and “Stars and Stripes: Hollywood and World War II.”

In the network’s launching years, Dina was “on the road” with celebrity ambassadors Dorothy Lamour, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Cesar Romero, Shirley Jones, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O’Connor Nick Clooney and Bob Dorian by arranging local market publicity tied to events and acting as personal publicists to these classic movie stars.    In later years, she did publicity involving such A level talent as Martin Scorsese, Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Julianne Moore and Leonardo DiCaprio.

She has served on the Board of Directors of New York Women in Film & Television as Vice President, Communications, and Vice President, Special Events, running the Muse Awards and Designing Hollywood.
